A recent Kantar Emor ticket market survey once again confirms that Piletilevi PLG is the most well-known and widely used ticketing platform among Estonian residents. According to the study, 72% of Estonians have used Piletilevi, and more than half (54%) prefer to purchase their tickets through the platform. Piletilevi’s position is especially strong among theatre-goers — 96% have used Piletilevi and 70% prefer it over other platforms.
Sven Nuutmann, Chairman of the Management Board of Piletilevi PLG, commented:
“Piletilevi has undergone a rebranding and adopted the international brand name PLG. This step reflects our growth and ambition to offer a high-quality ticketing service across Europe. The new study once again confirms that our strength lies in market understanding, years of experience, and the trust of our customers. The fact that 72% of Estonians have used our services and that more than half prefer Piletilevi is a great recognition for our team. Even more gratifying is the 96% usage rate among theatre ticket buyers — it shows that we are there for people in their most meaningful moments. Our role is not only to sell tickets but also to increase event visibility and bring cultural experiences closer to people. That is why we continue to invest in our platform and partnerships. This survey confirms that we are moving in the right direction.”
Nuutmann added:
“For event organizers, the most effective way to sell tickets is through the largest and most well-known ticketing company. This helps reduce marketing costs and other event-related expenses. The strong recognition of the Piletilevi PLG brand and users’ purchasing habits automatically increase event visibility and sales performance.”
The brand renewal aligns with PLG’s vision to reach a broader international audience. Although the company is the market leader in Estonia and, according to Kantar Emor, the country’s most popular ticketing platform, expansion into major European markets required a name that reflects its international scope and forward-looking approach.
“The PLG rebrand symbolizes our commitment to bringing meaningful moments to audiences across Europe and beyond,” added Nuutmann.
Now firmly established in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Romania, Piletilevi PLG has become the largest ticketing operator in Central Europe, with ambitions for further expansion.
